As of October 4, 2010, MED e-Care Support will no longer create username and re-set passwords for individual users. The Facility is responsible for assigning usernames to their users and re-setting passwords. All requests for assistance with username and password must be done in writing. This is in accordance with the Privacy Act (PA) which will not allow the assigning or changing the access to a patient's record by any individual without the proper authority to carry out the act.
