MED e-care's Performance Measures distill your facility's MDS response into the 24 (quarterly) and 30 (annual) Quality Indicators developed at the University of Wisconsin by the Centre for Health Services Research and Analysis (CHSRA).

MED e-care also offers a service that is subscribed to/by facilities across the country. They send their data and receive comparative reports from MED e-care's central database.

Performance Measures is included on the CCHSA list of acceptable systems for CCHSA -- accredited facilities. CARE is committed to meeting future CCHAS criteria.

Generate the same reports the surveyors use and know in advance whether any sentinel health events were triggered. Sentinel events, such as dehydration, are considered so significant that surveyors must investigate even if only one resident triggers. The reports can also be used to identify residents who could potentially be pre-selected by the survey team.
